The Vision of the Council:

To work together as a group to help all Valimarians clarify & strengthen their Role in the Realm. This will be accomplished through educational classes, workshops, activities & through special speakers & role play scenarios. Those in this group will help lead & mentor others & help keep the roles well defined, authentic & in an orderly fashion.

There is a project underway now to create a set of names to be used for various unnamed characters within Tolkien's works. The Elven dialect of Quenya will be used with emphasis on bodies of water and other places as a base to start from. GandalfThe has taken responsibility for this project to ensure everyone has a more authentic name than "Joyce" or "Bob".·
